The Ulsan Hyundai Mobis are looking ahead. The loss of Signeon-jin to a season-ending injury has left a crack in their frontline, but they are counting on the return of rookie guard Park Mubin and the addition of an Asian quarterback.
Hyundai Mobis lost Park to an ankle injury after the KBL Cup. Early in the season, the team also lost signee Signe-Jin to an ACL tear. Two guards have been hit by injury. There are Kim Tae-wan, Kim Ji-wan, and Lee Woo-seok, but each of them has distinct strengths and weaknesses.
It seemed that the guard lineup was needed to organize traffic, but a series of injuries put them in a position where they had to think about their available resources. However, Hyundai Mobis head coach Cho Dong-hyun is not impatient and intends to stay the course. “It’s difficult right now, but it will get better when (Park) Mubin returns and the Asian quarterfinalists come,” Cho said.
Park Mubin is currently out of his cast. He will likely play in a D-League game to build up his strength and get checked out. Park’s return will help ease the disappointment of Reading.
There is no timetable for the Filipino to join the AsiaQuarter. According to Hyundai Mobis, the player will not arrive until the end of his home league. He is expected to join the team in December.
Hyundai Mobis is showing some competitiveness despite not being at full strength. The team is overcoming its insecurities and will only get stronger. 캡틴토토 주소
